Originally slated on October 2, Stafford FallFest has unfortunately been cancelled for 2021. The extraordinary amount of rain over the past few months has caused standing water, washout, and an overall saturated terrain. Town crews have been diligently working to eradicate drainage and flooding issues within Hyde Park, but to no avail. Given its current condition, we simply cannot create event infrastructure, drive vehicles, or encourage large amounts of foot traffic in the historic park. Both relocating the event or absorbing repair costs was considered, but neither option is fiscally possible or responsible. It's with regret to share that Stafford FallFest has been canceled until 2022.
