A town wide celebration in honor of International Play Music on the Porch Day
Join us as we Explore Stafford and enjoy music on porches, in parks, and throughout town. Experience a day-long lineup of multi-genre performances from a variety of bands and artists, bringing their unique sounds to the streets. Stroll from spot to spot, enjoy a variety of performances, and experience the creativity and community spirit that make PorchFest a special Stafford tradition. Bring your friends, family, a lawn chair, and your favorite snacks as we celebrate local talent, neighbors, and the sounds of summer. Whether you’re here for the music, the atmosphere, or simply a chance to gather with the community, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Stafford Porchfest is a nod to “International Play Music on the Porch Day,” a global movement celebrating music, community, and creativity.
Bands, singers, and instrumentalists participate in the festival for no other reason than to showcase their talents and entertain the community. From strumming guitars to digeridoos and, a wide variety of sounds will make Stafford groovier than ever! Performers voluntarily take to the "stage" at their designated times and perform for the public. Artists' names and performance times are posted on this “Groove Map” and displayed in-person on lawn signs in front of respective concert locations.

Ring Those Bells Kickoff:
Starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 11:05 AM, help us celebrate the start of PorchFest with a special community-wide Ring Those Bells Kickoff! At 11:00 AM, local churches and organizations throughout Stafford will ring their bells together to mark the official beginning of this celebration of music, community, and connection. Join us as the sound of bells fills the town and kicks off a day of performances, activities, and musical memories across Stafford
Miss Renee from Harmonious Happenings:
Performing at Haymarket Square Downtown Stafford from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Join Miss Renee from Harmonious Happenings for a fun-filled, interactive children's concert that the whole family will enjoy! Through music, movement, and plenty of audience participation, Miss Renee creates an engaging experience that encourages children of all ages to sing, dance, learn, and have fun together. It's the perfect performance for families looking to make joyful memories during the festival!
Odd Man Out:
Performing at 43 Grant Avenue from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Don't miss Odd Man Out! This talented classic rock band, made up of Stafford High School students, is ready to bring timeless hits and youthful energy to the stage. Featuring Quinn Kritzky, Patrick Myles, Molly Pace, Bella Doughty, and Mia Blais, the band delivers crowd-pleasing performances that are fun for audiences of all ages. Come out and support these outstanding local musicians as they keep the spirit of classic rock alive!
Strings Sisters+:
Performing at Stafford Library, 10 Levinthal Run, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Who's ready for the String Sisters + 10-Piece Chamber Ensemble? Prepare to be captivated by the beautiful sound of this talented ensemble as they bring timeless classical masterpieces to life. Come to the porch at 28 Highland Terrace from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and celebrate the music of Taylor Swift! Sing along to Taylor’s greatest hits while making your very own friendship bracelets to trade, share, and take home. Whether you’re a lifelong Swiftie or just love a good sing-along, everyone is invited to join the fun! Come for the music, stay for the bracelets, and leave with a little more friendship!
Jason Beckham:
Performing at Mill Pond, 220 East Street, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Experience the heartfelt sounds of Jason Beckham! This talented acoustic singer-songwriter blends the storytelling traditions of Americana, alt-country, and folk music to create a performance that connects with audiences of all ages. Featuring a mix of original songs and carefully selected covers, Jason brings authentic vocals, thoughtful lyrics, and a warm acoustic style that makes every performance memorable.
Performing at Ice Cream Depot, 8 Main Street, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Enjoy the soulful sounds of Angus Sprague! With a style rooted in folk and acoustic music, Angus brings heartfelt melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and a warm, inviting performance that audiences of all ages can enjoy. Whether sharing original songs or timeless favorites, Angus creates a relaxed and memorable musical experience that celebrates the simple beauty of acoustic storytelling.
Sing-Along / Open Mic (but no mic):
Grab your acoustic instrument and join the music! At 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, head to the Stafford Library, 10 Levinthal Run, for our Open Mic & Community Singalong. Bring your acoustic instrument—or just your voice—for a fun, relaxed, and welcoming jam session where musicians and music lovers of all skill levels can play, sing, and enjoy making music together. No stage experience is necessary—just a love of music! Please note that this is an acoustic-only event, so no amplification will be used.
Rick O'Shea:
Performing at 3 Crown Street at TBD. Enjoy the sounds of Rick O'Shea! Bringing the heart and soul of Americana music to the stage, Rick delivers a memorable acoustic guitar performance filled with timeless melodies and heartfelt storytelling. With a style rooted in tradition and a passion for connecting with listeners, Rick’s music is a perfect fit for audiences of all ages who appreciate authentic, acoustic sounds.
Scott Ducharme:
Performing at 52 Furnace Ave from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Scott will be returning to his hometown to participate in the Porchfest. Scott is playing acoustic guitar, vocals, and harmonica. Covering family-friendly folk, folk-rock, and popular music from various decades, with a few originals thrown in.
Michael Scott Jazz Trio: Performing at Stafford Baptist Church located at 12 Leonard Road starting at 2:00 PM. Experience the magic of contemporary jazz, with a performance for an audience of all ages.
Open Mic with Monty M.:
Open Mic with Monty M. at Haymarket Park on Main Street from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Join us for an exciting open mic! Share your talent, whether it's music, poetry, or comedy, in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is invited to participate or simply enjoy the performances. Don't miss out on a night of creativity and community!
Andy & Lyndsey:
Performing at 43 High Street from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Get ready for a musical mish-mash with Andy & Lyndsey! This dynamic duo brings together a little bit of everything, from Irish and American folk to Canadian maritime tunes and sea shanties, along with '90s alternative, classic rock, and plenty more. With a fun and eclectic setlist, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy! Come sing along, tap your toes, and discover a few unexpected favorites. All ages are welcome!
Two of Us:
Performing at 28 Prospect Street from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Sponsored by teh Rotary Club of Stafford, get ready for a musical journey through the decades! The Two of Us, featuring Jill Gregori and Norm Gessay, performs beloved Billboard and Country chart-toppers from the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, and beyond. There's something for every generation to sing along to!!
The Core:
Performing at 62 High Street from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Core is back for their third consecutive year, bringing high-energy rock and crowd-favorite hits to the stage! Made up of talented local musicians Dan, Ed, Chris, Dan, and Josh, this hometown band knows how to get the crowd moving. With infectious energy, great music, and a passion for performing, The Core is guaranteed to rock your socks off and keep the fun going all show long!
Jesse James:
Performing at Off The Rails Brewery located at 86 Main Street from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Jesse James brings a unique blend of original outlaw country, folk, singer-songwriter, and bluegrass, with just the right touch of rock & roll. Expect heartfelt songs, foot-stomping tunes, and plenty of good-time music in a great local setting. Grab a drink, bring your friends, and come enjoy some good-time music with Jesse James at Off the Rails Brewing!

Businesses and residents are encouraged to join by hosting or performing on their porches, balconies, or driveways! Register to participate and help bring live music to neighborhoods throughout town. Hosts can book their own artist or work with the Events & Celebrations Committee to find a musician that’s the right fit for your space. Performers, sign up to share your music with the community!
