Trick-or-Treat on Main Street
Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Put on your favorite costumes and join the fun! Each year, Stafford's Main Street closes to auto traffic and opens as a pedestrian walkway for costumed families to enjoy a safe and social Halloween event. For two hours - or until candy runs out - costumed kiddos collect goodies from participating businesses, the First United Methodist Church (8 Church Street, where Trunk-or-Treat is held), and in Haymarket Common, which hosts additional Stafford businesses and civic groups wanting to distribute treats from “pop-up” tables or booths.

A Main Street parking ban will begin at 2:00 p.m.

A road closure will be in effect from 4pm-6pm (from the Holt Fountain to Route 140).
