VENDOR INFORMATION
& APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in Stafford SummerFest & Fireworks! A long-running town tradition, this is a free family-friendly event that has developed into an established destination activity, attracting an increasing number of attendees each year - approximately 5,000 in 2021.  

 

All perspective vendors must fill out the below form in its entirety. This form will be submitted for review. You will be notified if your request to vend has been accepted within two weeks of its receipt.

Stafford SummerFest & Fireworks

Date:   Wednesday, June 29, 2022 (rain date Thursday, June 30)

Time:   5:00pm – 10:00pm

Venue:  Stafford School Complex (145 Orcuttville Road, Stafford, CT 06076)

Spot Fee: $100 (made payable following confirmation of participation). $50 for pre-packaged specialty foods

 

Setup/breakdown:

Food vendors may arrive as early as 1:00pm for setup (we ask an approximate arrival time be confirmed prior to the event). All vendors must be onsite by 3:30pm for their North Central District Health Department inspection.
 

Health Department Permit: 

All food trucks/vendors must be licensed through the North Central District Health Department. If you do not have an existing license, you must submit a Temporary Event Food Service Application by Wednesday, June 15, 2022. The application can also be obtained in the Health Department at Stafford Town Hall, 1 Main Street, Stafford, CT. Phone: 860-684-1794. Further information is available at www.ncdhd.org

Additional Requirements: 

  • All vendors are expected to follow state and local fire regulations, and display fully charged, inspected, and tagged fire extinguisher(s).

  • All food vendors must provide current certificates of Commercial General Liability Insurance for a minimum of $1 million per occurrence with the Town of Stafford included as additional insured, NO LATER THAN, June 15, 2022.

  • Vendors must supply their own power supply/quiet generators.

  • All pertinent laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to health and public safety shall be strictly observed.

  • Vendor agrees to accept space assigned.

  • While waste receptacles will be placed within vendor area for “normal” refuse items, objects like large boxes will need to be carried out at the end of the event..
