VOLUNTEERS!
Stafford WinterFest Parade of Lights & Holiday Festival is on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and in need of community volunteers to help make the event possible. Each year, luminary bags adorn downtown, providing a festive glow to the event. The long-running tradition is a monumental task made easy with some helping hands. Here’s where help is needed:
Luminary Pre-Assembly
Pre-assembly activities are now complete, but helping hands are needed for setup before WinterFest begins!
Luminary Placement & Lighting
Starting at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 13, luminary bags are placed throughout Downtown – lining streets, bridges, and parks. Help is needed to both place bags and then light the candles, just before dusk. Placement begins at 1:00pm lighting is completed by approximately 4:00 p.m.
If weather forces a postponement, WinterFest will be held Sunday, December 15, 2025 (the same timeframe applies).
The is a volunteer opportunity through the Town of Stafford and contributions of time will be approved for community service hours, if needed.
